Hello, I took my daughter to Dr. Ugur Karabağ upon recommendation. Dr. Uğur not only saw us as patients and relatives, but also as his family. Years ago, I went to Kültekin Ögel, and he listened for five minutes. None of the subsequent doctors I saw made the same diagnosis as he did. Now, the Chairman of the Board of Directors or something? Last time, I went to another doctor out of necessity, and again, I left with regret. They ordered one test, and I paid 3500 TL in September 2025. You'd cry if you saw the report; it's such a simple report, it's a waste of money. It's called the Rita test. Some people are always happy, but for me, the two visits I've had in the last 10 years have been disappointments.

Everything changed for us after our encounter at your hospital at midnight on a Saturday. We cannot forget the warmth and support shown to us by all hospital units, from check-in to check-out, before treatment, examination, and admission. Dear Moodist Psychiatry & Neurology Hospital Authorities, Following the face-to-face meeting I had with Specialist Dr. YE Y at your hospital on Tuesday, July 22nd, I was informed that I would be informed about the test result and medication information on the same day, and it was also stated that I could reach him privately. However: • Although I wrote to him privately on July 22nd, there was no response. • Although I wrote to him again on the morning and evening of July 23rd, there was still no response. • When I wrote to his assistant on the same day, I received the response "Hello, I cannot send the result to you, the doctor can give information." but there was no call back afterward. • On July 24th, your hospital’s call center called and only informed me that “the result is negative” and I was informed that the doctor would contact me for detailed information. • When the doctor still hadn’t called back on July 25th, I reached out to his assistant again and received the response “He was not available today, I will remind you again about the request.” • I called him on July 28th at 13:34 PM but I couldn’t talk to him because I was on another call at the time. Immediately afterwards, I sent the assistant a message saying, “I called but I was busy, could you call back?”, but no call back was received. The only response I received from the assistant was: “Hello, Mr. Yusuf was supposed to have called you on Saturday.” However, I didn’t receive a call back that day either. • On July 29th, I informed the assistant that I couldn’t access my medication chart and therefore had to use my medications irregularly. The response I received was as follows: “Hello Mr. Oğuz, I can't do that. I'll ask the doctor to send you a schedule he needs to do. He has a TV shoot, so it might take until this afternoon. Just so you know.” • Despite sending a message on July 30th stating that I couldn't be reached, I received no response. During this period, my healthcare services were interrupted, and my medication regimen was disrupted. The information I was told would be provided to me was not delivered on time, and I received no reliable response from any communication channels. I have all correspondence, call recordings, and screenshots. They will be submitted to the relevant authorities if necessary. I regret to inform you that I will be filing a complaint against your hospital with the relevant authorities due to this negligent, indifferent, and unprofessional approach I've experienced. I strongly request that you review this process, take action against those responsible, and provide me with official feedback.

I've stayed at Moodist twice so far, and both times I've had only positive experiences. They do their best to interact with everyone and spend their days working together to help patients be more productive and push themselves to try new things and feel better. Also, all the TMS technicians, Esin, Çağla, and Nazlıcan, truly cannot be given enough credit. They are all so warm and kind, and always make sure you feel comfortable throughout your sessions. Finally, a huge thank you to Güler Dudu, who is the warmest, kindest, sweetest, and most loving person in the entire hospital. Not only is her translation spot-on, she's also one of the nicest people I've ever met.

May God not let you drop the thing. After the ECT, I could neither go out nor come to my senses. I am experiencing derealization. I am a thousand times worse. During my university years, when I first met, I started my drug life with marijuana and herbal medicine. Later, when I entered business life and found money, I continued with cocaine for 3 years, drinking 2-3 grams of cocaine a day. I have used methamphetamine for the last 2,5 years. Those who use drugs know that marijuana, herbs and cocaine are still valid in environments, but those who use meth are in a thinner mode and cannot tell anyone. As a person who suffered from addiction for many years, I thank God that I found the mood hospital where I was finally free and able to be treated by the professional medical team. I spent 2 times this year, each time costing 400-450 thousand TL. The chief physician canceled the meeting on the last day of my injection because I was 5 minutes late for the online meeting. We came to the end of the time allotted to us in 3 minutes for 4 5 thousand TL. The reason I was hospitalized was because I refused medication. The only thing that could fix me was medicine. I needed to be convinced and receive therapy about these issues. Why was there a need to suffer so much by being forcibly detained? What else does the brain do other than neuromotor disorders?
Definitely do not waste your money. It's a money trap institution. An organization that does not have the slightest idea about patient rights. You blamed it on the wrong diagnosis made by the doctor, psychologist NIHAL ALTINER confiscated my phone without my permission. He entered my room, went through my belongings and confiscated my phone. Since I didn't have a password on my phone, he got into trouble even though he didn't have the right to do so. He has no respect for people's private life. Even if you are in treatment, psychologists and doctors do not have such a right. And he himself called it goodwill. In a funny way, he feels entitled to this situation. Legally, there is no such right. The hospital must urgently provide training to employees who are unaware of patient rights. After my treatment was over, I didn't even pass by it. Moreover, due to their incorrect diagnosis, I took the wrong medications for 6-7 months.

I started the treatment on Monday and left on Saturday. Let me tell you about my experiences voluntarily. First of all, the rooms are not luxurious as you think, you go on holiday in 3* hotels, exactly like that, the housekeeping staff behaves as if they were prisoners in prison when you request something very inadequate. The officials view you as people who are disconnected from society and cannot succeed. Let me tell you why I'm leaving. There is only 1 electrical outlet in the room. I wanted a 3-wire cable for 3 days. At the same time, I suffer from sleep apnea. When I plugged it in, there was no socket to plug the computer into electricity. I asked for 1 day. We'll see. I asked for 2 days. We'll see. I asked for 3 days. We gave information to the technique. I realized that these people will not be able to solve this problem. My own family and myself from outside. I bought it and asked for the cable. Due to hospital rules, we cannot give the cable. Why can't we give you the cable because of the risk of hanging yourself? I said that if I wanted to hang myself, I would hang myself with the notebook's 3 meter cable. It's that simple, they work with such uninformed staff. I recommend you to be careful when choosing a hospital. Remember, don't let the place you paid for make fun of you.

Doctor Jale Mursalova, who interviewed for 1 hour in the first session, met for 25 minutes and 15 minutes respectively in the subsequent meetings. For the last session, they deemed it appropriate to wait 10 days and when I went to the bank to pay, they asked for 2.300 TL. Even though Ms. Jale saw me for the second time; He said that I needed to be hospitalized and claimed that I was in a manic phase. How did he make such a decision even though he had no knowledge or questions about my social life and social environment? I was very saddened and incredibly hurt by how the hospital viewed its superior analysis ability and the most sensitive population through dollar glasses. For a sick person, this illness is an emotional illness and he is very, very sensitive; I am truly amazed at how he finds it ethical to take such an approach. Moodist is a hospital that I will not pass through again and I never recommend it.
