I can honestly say all the best about the whole experience, everyone was so welcoming, understanding, sooo kind, very friendly, especially the girl named Sema, She is such a cute and welcoming person she literally radiates positive energy. She talked me thru everything, and She is soooo pretty and cute. The surgion honestly shocked me, why you may ask? Well I thought he would be Like any other doctor, serious, I thought he wont even see his patients nor Talk to them but on my suprise he came to my room multiple times to check on me, than when everything was almost Done he came again to take pictures with us, to Talk to us, to reasurre us that everything will be Okey. He showed us many accounts of people who he operated on that Are now a whole different person. He was so positive about everything yet so Professional. He was so easy to talk to unlike other experience I had with other doctors, I felt Like we were long-lost friends that found each other again. I was delighted honestly. What also surprised me was how good and balanced the organization was. They thought about every single detail. I had everything I needed and they provided me with great accommodation. Honestly I will recommend them to every single person I know that struggles with obesity. I can say only the best and I am so thankful to everyone that became part of my new life, new me.

I had my gastric sleeve surgery yesterday at Novemed Bariatric Centre, and I can genuinely say it's been an incredible experience from start to finish. The facilities are spotless, modern, and very well-organized. Everything from check-in to post-op care has been smooth and professional, giving me full confidence in the process. The translator was incredibly helpful – always present when needed and made sure I felt understood and comfortable every step of the way. Communication was never an issue, which made the whole experience much less stressful. I can't say enough good things about the nurses – they've been kind, attentive, and patient. Whether it was checking my vitals or helping me get out of bed post-op, they treated me with genuine care and compassion. A special thank you to Dietician Sema – her guidance was exceptional. She took the time to explain not just what to eat but why, which helped me feel empowered and ready for the next stage of my journey. Her clear, personalized advice gave me confidence about the path ahead and how to stay on track. Just one day post-op and I'm already feeling great. I'm excited for what's ahead and so thankful I chose Novemed. Highly recommended for anyone considering bariatric surgery – you'll be in excellent hands.

Hi I have recently done my Gastric Sleeve Surgery at this hospital. Everything went reasonably well, special thanks to all the staff and the team for their hard efforts into putting everything to work, from taking care of my arrival in Turkey to admitting me in the hotel they provided me with, it was super easy. Instructions and steps provided by them were very helpful. Very good experience, they accommodate you with a private driver to pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel, once your hospital appointment day arrives, a private driver will be waiting for you at the right time instructed to take you to the hospital to meet with your surgeons and the team taking care of the operation. Once you're there you will be treated very nice by the hospital staff and the room they provide you with is very clean and super comfortable!From my behalf, everything was super easy and special thanks to the team at Novemed and big big thanks to the Dietitian Sema Karasu for making everything super easy for me and an overall good experience provided by her to make sure I was always feeling comfortable!!Will be back soon for a visit definitely!!!

I would always recommend Novemed, the service from even days before the arrival was absolutely amazing! I traveled from 🇳🇿had my Gastric Sleeve done on the 22nd of April 2025. The service was awesome from pick up to drop off to going through all our test prior to the surgery. The nurses were lovely even though some didn't speak much English the translator app came in handy. The hotel was nice and comfortable. Big thanks to the surgeon also to Sema for helping us out during our stay.

The moment I got in contact with Novemed and was assigned a coordinator (Melisa) she was great and quick to respond to any queries I had. I couldn't fault her communication, even with the time difference (I'm NZ-based) she always appeared to be available whenever I had any questions.They accommodate pickup from both Istanbul and Sabiha Gokcen airports. We were a group of four, three undergoing bariatric surgery and one companion. The 'private transfer' wasn't quite as executive as I was expecting but it was okay for its purpose. We arrived a night before check-in at the hotel and they readily agreed to pick us up and take us to our hotel which I conveniently booked to be the same as the one they use.Pre-op checks were done the day before surgery was scheduled. It was a lot to take in but the help was very informative about what we were doing the way through the process. The checks include registering at the hospital, blood tests, ECG, ultrasound, meeting with the anesthesiologist and then making final payment. We were then taken back to the hotel where we got to have our final meal (before 6pm) and lounge around until op day.Op day: The hospital is modern, clean and well-equipped, including the room. Within 5 hours of arrival I was being wheeled to the operating theater. I don't know how long the surgery took, all I know is when I came too, I had no pain but a little discomfort. I was up and walking real quick, even walking at pace!The nurses at the hospital are great although some of them couldn't speak a lot of English but enough to know to let you know what's happening.After the hospital stay it's back to the hotel, while there we managed a day trip to the Grand Bazaar with no issues.Post op: Over my whole experience I've been fortunate to not experience any pain, haven't had to take any pain relief medication since I was discharged from the hospital and my wounds appear to be healing just fine.Special mention to Sema (dietician) she was with our group the whole way through the process from pre-op to discharge. She explained what was in our discharge packs (meds and information for flights and your own GP) and talked about our diets for the next week. She is always available if I have any questions and is an asset to the Novemed team. I am one week post ops and comms are still great!

The experience with Novemed was so so. The initial consultation and everything leading up to the operation was fine. Unfortunately where the gastric sleeve surgery takes place BHT Hospital is pretty bad with a lot of nurses that don't speak English and lack empathy, Thus makes the quality of Noemed and what they offer decrease. The Doctor is skilled but They should reconsider what hospital they use to have this procedure done at. Overall my experience was a 6 out of 10 - Not really sure I would recommend others.

I had gastric sleeve on 23rd Jan 2024 with Dr Necdet Derici. The experience starting with Damla who was my initial contact/cordinator, Dietician Elif and Melissa was exceptional. The private hospital room was good and the nurses were a call button away for any assistance. The whole experience from being picked up at the airport and finally being dropped off was a relief as all areas of the trip was covered for my self and accompanying guest. Would definitely recommend 👍.

My experience with Novemed was just amazing from the beginning to the end.The transport from the airport to our hotel was on point.The hotel was on point.The girls that was looking after me « Senna » and « Elif » were just amazing honestly , such a really nice girls.Always checking on me and very caring.The surgery went well the nurses at the hospital was really nice as well they came and checked on me every time.The only little problem was the language barrier because some of the nurses don't speak English but apart from that everything was perfect.Such a nice people that will really support you and make your surgery easy.Love you so much guys it was amazing ❤️

After going back and forth researching Bariatric companies and procedures for over 18 months, I decided to use Novemed for my gastric sleeve. Due to PCOS and other health related issues I really felt I needed a lifetime tool to help maintain my weight. From the first interaction to today my experience with Novemed has been incredible. The WhatsApp Group with all my careteam has been amazing. No question is too small and the response time is exceptional. As a solo traveler to Turkey I was greeted by a huge, stylish black van which took me in VIP style to my hotel before my op date. On arrival at the hospital my translator met me and walked me through all my procedures. He was very friendly and informative. I met my surgeon who was professional and caring. The nurses and staff post surgery were excellent and with the help of Google translate I could ask anything whenever I needed it. The aftercare since I've returned home regarding nutrition and medication has been very useful and frequent. I was very nervous but this was a very smooth experience with a company who really does know what they are doing. I couldn't recommend Noved more.
